We have not appointed a data protection officer. Write to the e-mail address above about anything in this notice, including a request under section 5.
2. What we collect, and why
We collect only what a business enquiry needs. This website has no user accounts, no profiling and no advertising identifiers, and you can read every page of it without giving us anything.
Account requests, part inquiries and quotes
The form sends us your name, company, e-mail address, telephone number, country, the type of business you run and your message. On a part inquiry it also sends the part number you typed and the catalogue match that number produced, so we can answer with the right item.
Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f)).
Newsletter
Your e-mail address, and which part of the site you subscribed from. Nothing else — we do not ask for a name.
Your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), which you may withdraw at any time.
Server logs and abuse prevention
Our server records each request: the IP address it came from, the time, the page and the browser string. The forms additionally count submissions per IP address for a short period so that one script cannot flood them.
Our legitimate interest in keeping this website available and free of abuse (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
We do not sell personal data, we do not share it for advertising, and we make no decision about you by automated means.
3. Cookies and analytics
This website sets no cookie for tracking, advertising or profiling. That is why you are not asked to accept any: there is nothing to consent to.
When the anti-spam check is switched on, Cloudflare Turnstile runs on the contact and newsletter forms and may set its own short-lived challenge cookie. It exists to tell a person from a script, and it does not follow you to other websites.
Analytics
- Plausible Analytics — cookieless, aggregate page counts only. It stores no identifier on your device and builds no profile.
We only ever use analytics that works without cookies and without identifying you. Any tool we add later is held to the same rule.
Nothing else on this site is loaded from a third party: no advertising network, no social plugin, no embedded video, and no third-party map — the map on our contact page is a static image we host ourselves.
4. Who processes data for us
A small number of service providers process data on our behalf. Each acts on our instructions under a data processing agreement, and none of them may use your data for its own purposes.
- Hetzner Online GmbH
- Hosting. This website, its database and the requests you send it run on a server we rent from them.Where: Germany (EU)
- Cloudflare
- DNS for our domains, and the Turnstile anti-spam check on our forms when it is switched on.Where: EU and worldwide, under the European Commission standard contractual clauses
- Our transactional e-mail provider (named before publication)
- Delivers your enquiry to our sales inbox as an e-mail. It does not receive the newsletter list.Where: Confirmed before publication
- No one else
- The database that stores your message, and the admin screen our staff read it in, run on the same rented server. Nothing is copied to another company.Where: Germany (EU)
We keep processing inside the European Economic Area wherever we can. Where a provider processes data outside it, that transfer is covered by the European Commission standard contractual clauses.
5. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you may, at any time, ask us to:
- confirm whether we hold data about you, and give you a copy of it (Article 15);
- correct anything inaccurate or incomplete (Article 16);
- erase what we hold (Article 17);
- restrict what we do with it while a question about it is open (Article 18);
- hand it to you, or to someone you name, in a machine-readable form (Article 20);
- stop processing it where we rely on our legitimate interest (Article 21).
Where we rely on your consent — the newsletter — you may withdraw it at any time, and withdrawing it does not affect what we did before you withdrew it (Article 7(3)).
We take no decision about you based solely on automated processing, so Article 22 does not arise.
How to exercise them
Write to info@afmforkliftparts.hu. We answer within one month of receiving your request, as Article 12(3) requires, and tell you if we need longer.
If you are not satisfied
You may complain to the Hungarian supervisory authority, the Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH, naih.hu). You may also complain to the supervisory authority of the EU country where you live or work (Article 77).
6. How long we keep it
Account requests, inquiries and quotes — For as long as the business relationship they lead to lasts. Ask us to delete an enquiry sooner and we will, unless we still need it for a contract between us.
Newsletter — Until you unsubscribe. Every message carries an unsubscribe link, and one click is enough.
Server logs — Only for as long as they are useful for keeping the site available and stopping abuse. They are never used to build a picture of a visitor.
